Our customer called us because she had some severe black staining on the front brick of her home. After an on-site visit, we determined it was excessive algae growth due to water running down the front of the home and then excessive shade from a tree that had recently been remove. The tree was shading the brick and causing it to remain wet for a long period of time. That combination led to black staining on the front of the home. The driveway was also black from algae, and the home had not been cleaned in a few years. While there we also treated the chimney for algae growth.
