We approached Allen Jay Preparatory Academy about cleaning their football stadium bleachers because two of our children had attended there and we wanted to give back to that school and the community. The school has a lot of history and the bleachers and scoreboard were in a total mess from about 24 months of not being used. We talked to the school principal and he said it was probably decades since they had been touched. We started by rinsing the existing dirt and then applying our first soft wash treatment. that cut through quite a bit of the algae and dirt but some was still holding on. We then went back over everything a second time with another treatment and saw the concrete was starting to return to it's white/grey coloring. Some areas had to be treated a third time due to build up before we started surface cleaning.
So much dirt had been loosened up from our soft wash treatments that we had to rinse the stands before we could even begin surface cleaning. The principal told us that we needed to be cautious with the stadium seating due to the age of the concrete and some areas were brittle. We applied a lower nozzle pressure to the concrete to agitate any remaining dirt but not enough to damage or crack the concrete's integrity.
Once surface cleaned, we then rinsed the stadium seating and steps again and then used a lower pressure turbo nozzle to clean up the risers and remove any left over algae and dirt that was still holding on to the vertical surfaces.
The final step was to treat the scoreboard with our low pressure soft wash method and get it looking like new again. The results speak for themselves and the school and community were amazed at the results.
This project was a little over 6,000 square feet of concrete and we were able to complete the transformation in less than a day.
Client Review: Power Clean Pro was able to make our school stadium bleachers return to life! The concrete was stained and dingy but now is bright and appealing to visitors. Great job!
